What the heck is all this about?
Well, it seems you made it to my personal "photoblog" — the website where I feature some of the photos I've taken in the past years. If you would like to comment on them, please feel free to share your thoughts; any feedback is welcome.

I am a non-professional photographer who'd love to spend more time on taking and editing pictures. However, working as an IT consultant and having a family does not allow for much more.
Most photos were taken either with my Canon EOS 50D or Canon EOS 350D. My favorite lenses are the Canon 24-105mm 1:4L and the Canon 50mm 1:1.8. However, I think that pricy equipment is not necessarily required for taking good shots — some of the pictures you see on these pages were taken with my budget point-and-shoot camera, a Canon PowerShot SX110 IS.
For editing my pics I use The Gimp under GNU/Linux and some other freeware tools.
